The country’s largest IT services company Tata Consultancy Services ( TCS ) has said that it will increase the salary of about 80 percent of its middle to junior level employees. This salary hike will be effective from September 1, 2025. This salary hike has been done at a time when TCS is going to lay off about 12,000 employees this year.
TCS has given information to the employees through email
TCS CHRO Milind Lakkad and CHRO-designate K Sudeep said in an email to employees on Wednesday that the pay hike will be effective from September 1. “We are pleased to announce pay revision for all eligible employees up to C3A and equivalent grades, covering 80 per cent of our workforce. This will be effective from September 1, 2025,” the email, seen by PTI, said. The email added: “We would like to thank all of you for your dedication and hard work as we together build the future of TCS.”
The amount of the salary hike could not be immediately ascertained. When asked for a comment, the company said in a statement: “We can tell you that we will increase the salary of about 80 percent of our employees from September 1, 2025.”
