Vande Bharat: According to Senior DCM Vikas Khera, the new Vande Bharat Express train will have seven AC chair car and one executive AC chair car class coaches. The train’s color will be saffron instead of white.

The much-awaited Vande Bharat semi-high-speed express train, running from Jodhpur to Delhi Cantt, rolled onto the tracks on Thursday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the train via video conferencing from Banswara. At a ceremony held at Jodhpur Railway Station, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav flagged off the train for its inaugural run. Vande Bharat was scheduled to depart at 2:30 pm, but departed Jodhpur station around 3:30 pm.

Union Tourism Minister was also present.
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said, “Daily trains to Pune, Chennai, and Hyderabad have been operational for all of you. Years of demand have been met. We have fulfilled every promise. Now you can enjoy Vande Bharat.” Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat was also present.

According to Jodhpur’s Senior DCM Vikas Kheda, on Thursday, train number 04861 Jodhpur-Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Inaugural Special train will leave from Jodhpur and will arrive at Jaipur station at 7.05 pm and depart at 7.10 pm. It will reach Delhi Cantt at 11.10 pm. This train will stop at Merta Road, Degana, Makrana, Phulera, Jaipur, Alwar, Rewari and Gurgaon stations on the way. The regular operation of the train will start from September 27. Let us tell you that more than 200 passengers travelled on the inaugural run.

Previously, the first Vande Bharat Express train began operating between Jodhpur and Sabarmati stations on July 7, 2023.

A speed trial was conducted earlier.

It is noteworthy that on Monday, a speed trial of the Vande Bharat train was conducted from Jodhpur to Nawan City. It reached a speed of 110 km per hour. The train departed from the railway station at 5:25 am and arrived in Nawan City three hours later, at around 8:25 am. Similarly, on its return journey, the train departed for Jodhpur at 8:50 am, approximately 25 minutes later, and arrived at 11:50 am. The Jodhpur-Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Express will run six days a week (except Tuesdays).

Paneer and Gatte ki Sabzi will be available

Passengers on the Vande Bharat train will be provided with breakfast and lunch. IRCTC has been entrusted with this responsibility. Packaged water bottles will be provided to all passengers on the train. Breakfast includes upma, gram flour chilla, biscuits, and other items. Lunch includes rice, dal, parantha, paneer ki sabzi, mixed vegetables, and Gatte ki sabzi. Furthermore, non-vegetarian food is available for passengers who order non-vegetarian food.
