Tanner Fussell is an American Singer and Songwriter. He is best known for participate in season 22 of NBC’s singing reality show The Voice, judged by John Legend, Camila Cabello, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. He is originally from Statesboro, Georgia.
Biography
Tanner Fussell was born in Statesboro, Georgia to a religious household where very little secular music was allowed. He was introvert and spent hours in his room alone, playing and singing. He gained confidence when some of friends convinced him to play for them.
Tanner began to play out and formed his first band, Half-Seas Over, which played all over the Southeast for five years. Half-Seas Over released a three-song EP called “The Hideout Sessions” in 2017. The band included his best friend and drummer, Will Smith. Unfortunately, Will died in a car accident and later Tanner moved to Nashville to continue pursuing music. In 2022, she participated as a contestant in singing show The Voice 22, aired on NBC.
