Biography
Susmita Chatterjee was born on July 8, 1997 in Asansol, West Bengal. She received her schooling from the local school of Asansol and went on to attend engineering college to pursue a degree in engineering.
Susmita started her journey into the world of modeling in 2019, and soon she was taking part in fashion shows and events around the world. Her hard work paid off as she featured in multiple brand campaigns within the course of just one year.
In 2021, Susmita got opportunity to make debut in film Industry with romantic drama film Prem Tame where she played a lead role of Raji. The film was directed and written by Anindya Chatterjee. In same year, Susmita also made her debut in Hoichoi web series Maradonar Juto where she appeared as Hiya Dutt alongside with Amartya Ray.
After making debut, Susmita appeared in some movies like Paka Dekha, Kacher Manush and Khela Jawkhon. In April 2023, Susmita got immense popularity for appearing in action drama film Chengiz as Nandini. In this movie, she stars with Jeetendra Madnani, Shataf Figar and Rohit Roy.
