In view of the warning of heavy rain in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, one more day holiday has been declared in all the government and private schools of the district. This decision was taken by Collector Jasmeet Singh Sandhu on the proposal of the Chief District Education Officer.
According to the order, there will be a holiday for students in all schools in the district on Thursday as well. The order has been implemented using the powers conferred in Section 30 of Chapter 4 of the Disaster Management Act-2005. However, school staff will have to be present in the school compulsorily. This decision has also been taken keeping in mind the process of physical verification of school buildings.

Let us tell you that Wednesday was a day of drizzle and clouds playing hide and seek in Bhilwara city. The drizzle that started in the morning continued intermittently throughout the day, due to which the whole city appeared drenched in monsoon colors. Dark clouds covered the sky, which sometimes turned into light drizzle and sometimes just made one feel humid. Due to the continuous drizzle, a slight drop in temperature was recorded.
On Wednesday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 27.2 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature at 24.8 degrees Celsius. However, despite the fall in temperature, the humidity remained, due to which people could not get complete relief from the sticky heat. Amidst the rain, the frequent power cuts in some areas of the city also troubled people a lot. Life was affected due to intermittent power cuts. At the same time, pedestrians and drivers also faced problems in commuting due to water filling in the potholes of some damaged roads due to rain.
