Theatre

Before entering the Bollywood industry, Rozlyn Khan used to act in theatre plays. She acted in the play “Hatak,” written by Sadat Hassan Manto, and “Miss Padma,” written by Munshi Premchand.

Film

In 2012, Rozlyn Khan appeared in the Bollywood film “Dhama Chaukdi,” starring Sanjay Mishra, Mukesh Tiwari, and Deepraj Rana. In 2016, she debuted as ‘Item Girl,’ with the item song “Keep Distance,” from the film “Jee Lene Do Ek Pal.”

The actress also appeared in the film “Miss Screte 2.”

Television

Rozlyn Khan made her television debut with the crime show, “Crime Alert,” in which she played the character of a younger dancer. The episode is about the tragic life story of a young dancer, who was raped. While talking about choosing this show, Rozlyn Khan said,

Since the last two years, I have been busy doing theatre. When I got an offer to do a show on the story of a girl’s tragic life, I thought why not. This is crime-based show and the stories are episodic. I was really touched when I heard the story. This is my debut on the small screen.”

Webcomic

Rozlyn Khan worked as a voice artist for the character of Savita Bhabhi, in an Indian adult animated film, “Savita Bhabhi.” The film was released on the web on 4 May 2013. The creator of “Savita Bhabhi,” Puneet Agarwal (also known as Deshmukh), launched another webcomic on 4th August 2013, named “Rozlyn Comic.” In this comic, the leading role, Saina, is a caricature of Rozlyn herself. Khan became the first Indian model to be sketched in a sex webcomic.

Controversies

Tortured & harassed by police in her look-alike case

In 2014, a woman, look-alike Rozlyn Khan, was running an escort business under the name of Rozlyn Khan. After the arrest of the accused, Khan revealed through her tweet that she was tortured and harassed by the ex additional commissioner Sunil  Paraskar, and his officer Manish Nalawade for four months, over her lookalike case.

Karan Kakkad murder case

In 2012, Karan Kakkad, an aspiring producer and businessman was murdered. His younger brother claimed that Rozlyn Khan was his girlfriend and might involved in the conspiracy. In an interview, Rozlyn Khan denied the claims and said that she was not his girlfriend, but rather just an acquaintance. She said,

Simran Sood, his friend, tried to drag my name in this mess and tried to trap me just to divert cops attention. But, I have mailed all the messages and BBMs to the police. That is why they have given me a clean chit!”

• In 2012, Rozlyn Khan won the  ‘Celebrity Whistleblower trophy’ at Lions Gold Award. On New Year’s eve, Khan got a call from the drug mafia to help them, as they were planning to smuggle into Mumbai, but the actress refused and informed the Mumbai Police about it. After receiving the award, Rozlyn Khan said,
  

  It is a big achievement to be conferred with the award. I am grateful to the media and the Mumbai Police who initiated prompt action by beefing up the security at hotels where celebrity performances were taking place. This led to a drug-free New Year’s eve.”

• Rozlyn Khan often raises awareness about breast cancer. For promoting breast cancer awareness, she appeared topless in one of her photoshoots. Her video in which she was seen examining herself went viral. In an interview, while talking about her video, she said,
  

  Through my simple self-examination video, I intend to spread maximum awareness, inform and educate everyone about the malady and do my bit to save lives.”

• The actress was diagnosed with cancer. On 12 November 2022, Rozlyn Khan informed her fans about her ill health through her Instagram post. She revealed that she misunderstood her cancer pain as gymnastics & exercise stress. She further informed she will undergo chemotherapy for the next 7 months.
