PM Kisan 21st Installment Date: Millions of farmers across the country are eagerly awaiting the 21st installment of the PM Kisan Yojana. The central government has transferred funds to the accounts of farmers in some states. It is expected that farmers may receive ₹2,000 before Diwali.

PM Kisan 21st Installment Date: The economic situation of farmers in the country is not good. Consequently, various schemes are being implemented by both the state and central governments for farmers. Similarly, the central government is implementing the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. The aim of this scheme is to increase farmers’ income. So far, farmers have received benefits in 20 installments. Soon, farmers across the country will receive the benefits of the 21st installment. Farmers in many states have already received the 21st installment. It is expected that millions of farmers may receive a gift this Diwali.

In fact, the central government has transferred the 21st installment to the accounts of farmers in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh. This is because recent natural disasters such as heavy rains, floods, and landslides in these states caused significant damage to their crops. Therefore, the central government has released this installment ahead of schedule to farmers in these states as a relief measure.

When will the 21st installment of ₹2,000 be received?
In 2023, the government released the 21st installment on November 15th, while in 2024, the 18th installment was sent on October 5th. This time, too, it is expected that the government may release the 21st installment by October 20, 2025. While no official statement has yet been issued by the central government, several media reports suggest that the ₹2,000 installment will likely be credited to farmers’ accounts before Diwali.

What should farmers keep in mind?
Farmers who wish to benefit from this scheme must keep their e-KYC up-to-date. Sometimes, installments are delayed due to incorrect bank accounts or incomplete information. In such cases, farmers must update their account details, Aadhaar card, and complete their e-KYC. This will prevent installment delays.

Over 9 crore farmers will benefit.
Last time, the 19th installment of PM Kisan credited funds to the accounts of over 9 crore eligible farmers. Previously, over 9 crore eligible farmers received benefits from the 18th installment. The department has not yet provided information on how many farmers will benefit from the 21st installment. However, it is believed that this number may be around this level.

These farmers’ 20th installment may be delayed.

Farmers who have not yet completed their e-KYC will not receive the scheme’s funds. Therefore, they can complete this process at their nearest CSC center, bank, the scheme’s official portal pmkisan.gov.in, or through the official app.

2. Instalments may also be withheld for those whose land ownership records are not uploaded or verified on the portal.

3. The government is identifying farmers who are receiving benefits based on incorrect documents and removing them from the list.

4. Payments may be difficult if their bank accounts are not linked to Aadhaar.
