Indian Railway- Indian Railways is going to run three new Vande Bharat Express, which will increase the total number to 75. These include Ajni-Pune, Bengaluru-Belgavi and Katra-Amritsar trains. PM will flag them off on August 10.

Indian Railways is going to run three more Vande Bharat Express. With the addition of these three, the number of Vande Bharat trains will increase to 75. The Prime Minister will flag off these trains on August 10. Currently, 72 Vande Bharat Expresses are running in various cities of the country. Indian Railways has released the schedule of these trains. These include Ajni (Nagpur)-Pune, KSR Bengaluru-Belgaum and Shri Mata Vaishnodevi Katra-Amritsar Vande Bharat trains.

Ajni (Nagpur)-Pune Vande Bharat Express: This train will cover a distance of 881 km, which will be the longest distance Vande Bharat train till date. This is the 12th Vande Bharat train of Maharashtra, which will run between Nagpur and Pune at an average speed of 73 km/hr. It will stop at 10 stations – Wardha, Badnera, Akola, Shegaon, Bhusaval, Jalgaon, Manmad, Kopargaon, Ahmednagar and Daund Chord Line.

Train number 26101 will depart from Pune at 6:25 am and reach Ajni at 18:25 pm. Train number 26102 will depart from Ajni at 9:50 am and reach Pune at 21:50 pm. It will run 6 days a week. This train will have 8 coaches (1 executive chair car and 7 chair cars) with a seating capacity of 590 passengers.

KSR Bengaluru-Belgaum and Katra-Amritsar Vandebharat

This train will connect two important cities of Karnataka, which will boost regional connectivity and trade. Belgaum is an ancient city, where there are a large number of temples. At the same time, Shri Mata Vaishnodevi Katra-Amritsar Vande Bharat train will be important for pilgrims and tourists, which will make religious and cultural travel between Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab easier. Devotees will be able to visit the Golden Temple and Vaishno Mata together through this train. In this way, it will connect two religious places. Currently, two Vande Bharat trains are running from Katra to Delhi. This will be the third train to run from Katra.

200 Vande Bharats in three years

Currently, 72 Vande Bharat trains are providing 144 services in 24 states and union territories. These trains are giving fast, safe and comfortable travel experience to the passengers. Indian Railways is planning to introduce more than 200 Vande Bharat trains in the next three years.
