LPG Gas Cylinder Price Today The month of August is going to start from tomorrow. Many things are going to change across the country from August 1, including the price of LPG gas cylinders.

It is often seen that the prices of commercial cylinders keep increasing or decreasing at the beginning of the month. However, from time to time changes are seen in the price of domestic cylinders.

LPG Gas Cylinder Price Today Talking about the prices of domestic gas cylinders, the government last changed the price of domestic gas cylinders on 8 April 2025. On April 8, 2025, the rate of domestic cylinder was increased by Rs 50. Earlier on August 30, 2023, the prices of LPG cylinders were reduced by Rs 200.

People got relief up to Rs 250

Domestic LPG cylinders were available in Delhi for Rs 1103 since March 1, 2023 and in one stroke, they came down to Rs 903. After August 30, 2023, once again on March 9, 2024, there was a big relief of Rs 100 and the price of the cylinder became Rs 803. That is, in a little more than two years, the price of LPG cylinder decreased by Rs 300 and increased by Rs 50. That is, a total relief of Rs 250 was given.

On August 1, 2014, the price of a domestic LPG cylinder in Delhi was Rs 920. It was available in Kolkata for Rs 964.5, in Mumbai for Rs 947 and in Chennai for Rs 922. By August 1, 2015, the next year, LPG prices were reduced drastically and it was reduced to Rs 585 in Delhi, Rs 619 in Kolkata, Rs 599 in Mumbai and Rs 603.5 in Chennai.
