The bank has officially informed its customers about this. The bank said that these changes are focused on the new Total Relationship Value (TRV) requirement. Let us tell you that the Imperia program is a premium banking service and special benefits are provided to select customers.

According to media reports, new rules will come into effect from October 1 for customers who had enrolled in the Imperia program on or before June 30, 2025. However, the new rules are already applicable for customers who joined after July 1 or whose Imperia status is upgraded.

Know what changes have been made in the Emporia program

According to a report published in Business Standard, Emporia, one of HDFC Bank’s flagship premium offers, will now require customers to maintain a minimum TRV of Rs 1 crore at the group level to remain eligible. This new option has been introduced in addition to the existing criteria.

Follow these rules to remain in Emporia

1 – It is necessary to maintain a minimum average quarterly balance of Rs 15 lakh in current account.

2 – An average monthly balance of at least Rs 10 lakh should be maintained in savings account.

3 – A combined average monthly balance of Rs 30 lakh has to be maintained in savings, current and fixed deposit accounts.

4. Net monthly salary of Rs 3 lakh or more deposited in Corporate Salary Account with HDFC Bank.

Know what is TRV
TRV stands for Total Relationship Value. It includes all the money deposited in the bank on your behalf (under a customer ID) in any form. This amount can be in savings account, current account, FD, outstanding loan account or any other type of investment (like mutual fund) etc.

Preferred customers get these facilities
Actually, the bank provides a relationship manager to the customers. He helps you in using banking related services. Whether it is taking a personal loan or forex card or any other service of the bank, the relationship manager helps you in this. Preferred customers also get special offers for facilities like forex, demat, trading and locker. Along with this, charges like cash withdrawal from non-HDFC ATMs and free balance inquiry are also waived for such customers. Apart from this, the bank also gives HDFC Premium Credit Card and Preferred Platinum Debit Card to preferred customers.
