From November 2025, Aadhaar card holders will have to visit the contact centers only for biometric verification, fingerprint and iris scanning. You will be able to do all the other updates through this app sitting at home. UIDAI plans to link other government services like birth certificate, PAN card, passport, driving license, ration card and MNREGA records with this app.
What is e-Aadhaar?
e-Aadhaar is a digital version of your physical Aadhaar card, which can be downloaded in PDF format from the UIDAI website. It is password-protected, which reduces the risk of its misuse. E-Aadhaar can be downloaded from myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in website or mAadhaar app.
