Railways has made changes in the weekly Garib Rath Express running between Saharsa and Amritsar. The train passing through Hardoi will now go to Delhi station instead of New Delhi Railway Station.

The stations of trains in both directions on up and down routes have been changed from August 17. Train 12203-12204 Garib Rath Express running between Saharsa in Bihar and Amritsar in Punjab operates via Delhi. Train 12203 goes to Delhi three days a week on Monday, Tuesday and Friday while train 12204 returns from Delhi on Sunday, Wednesday and Saturday. This train often has to be rescheduled as many trains operate from New Delhi. In such a situation, the train is constantly getting delayed. To curb this, the railways has made changes in the station of the train.

Train 12203 from Saharsa to Amritsar will go to Delhi station instead of New Delhi railway station from August 17 and train 12204 from Amritsar to Saharsa will come to Delhi station instead of New Delhi from August 18. Divisional Senior Commercial Railway Manager Aditya Gupta said that only the railway station of the trains has been changed. The arrival and stopping time of the train at Delhi station is also the same as it was at New Delhi railway station.
