Not only Uttarakhand, but many states have announced DA increases for their employees before Diwali. In Uttar Pradesh, CM Yogi Adityanath also announced a DA increase on October 17th. The dearness allowance in UP has been increased from 55% to 58%. CM Yogi said that this decision will light the lamp of satisfaction, security, and prosperity in the lives of employees and pensioners during the festival.
