Bidipta Chakraborty was born on Kolkata, West Bengal to a middle class Bengali Hindu family. She was inclined towards music since childhood. She participated in TV reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Bangla in 2017 and became 2nd Runner-up. He later appeared in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil champ 2017. Bidipta rose to fame by won the 1st runner-up title of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2021 of Zee Bangla. In 2022, she is one of the top 15 contestant of Indian Idol 13, judged by Vishal Dadlani, Himesh Reshammiya and Neha Kakkar.
