Amrit Bharat Express: Amrit Bharat Express train will start running between Rajendra Nagar Terminal and New Delhi from Thursday. Train number 22361 will leave Patna every day at 7:45 pm and reach New Delhi at 1:10 pm the next day.
On return, train number 22362 will leave New Delhi at 7:10 pm and reach Rajendra Nagar Terminal at 11:45 am the next day. By Wednesday evening, the Railway Division had completed preparations for the operation of this semi-high speed train with unreserved and sleeper class.
On July 18, the PM gave the green signal
This service was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 18 by virtually flagging off the train from Motihari. All sleeper seats in the train have already been booked till August 18. The fare for sleeper in this train running from Patna has been kept at Rs 560 and for general at Rs 325.

This train is completely of sleeper category and has a total of 22 coaches. These include 11 general, 8 sleeper, 1 pantry car and 2 luggage brake vans. It has been provided with modern facilities like CCTV cameras, bio-vacuum toilets and mobile charging points. The maximum speed of this train is 130 km per hour, while the average speed will be 57 km per hour.
