Mumbai to Ahmedabad Bullet train: Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav announced on Sunday that India’s first bullet train will be seen running on the tracks very soon. This train will complete the journey from Mumbai to Ahmedabad in just 2 hours and 7 minutes.

He said this at Bhavnagar Terminus, where he virtually flagged off the Ayodhya Express, Rewa-Pune Express and Jabalpur-Raipur Express trains. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, Union Ministers Mansukh Mandaviya and Nimuben Bambhaniya were also present on this occasion.

Will run at a speed of 320 KM per hour

The Railway Minister said that this high-speed train will cover a distance of 508 km. This train will start from BKC (Bandra-Kurla Complex) in Mumbai and will reach Ahmedabad via Vapi, Surat, Anand, Vadodara. Its maximum speed will be 320 km/h.

Modi government’s bullet planning

Vaishnav said that not only bullet train , a whole wave of change is going on in the railways. Many new projects are being started for Gujarat. These new projects include Porbandar-Rajkot new train service, ₹ 135 crore coach maintenance depot at Ranavav station, railway flyover in Porbandar city, two Gati Shakti cargo terminals and a new container terminal in Bhavnagar.

He informed that railway projects are progressing rapidly in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The Chief Ministers there are also supporting this mission.

1300 railway stations will become smart

The minister said that in the last 11 years, 34,000 km of new track has been laid. On an average, 12 km of track is being laid every day. Also, 1300 railway stations are being completely renovated. This work is being done in such a way that neither the train stops nor the passengers are troubled.

From Vande Bharat to Amrit Bharat, new generation trains

During this, Ashwini Vaishnav also mentioned the new trains Vande Bharat Express, Amrit Bharat Express and Namo Bharat Express started during the Modi government. He said, “So far 8 Amrit Bharat trains have been started. These trains have facilities like Vande Bharat, but the fare is much less. These trains have been made with new technology and the people who are traveling in it are also very happy.”

The introduction of the bullet train will not only save time but will also elevate the entire concept and level of facilities of the railways. This train will not just be a new vehicle but will become a symbol of India’s progress.
