CBSE conducted surprise inspections of around 15 schools in 7 states. The raids were such that the schools did not even get a hint. Later, it started being discussed everywhere. Every inspection team included a CBSE officer and the principal of a school affiliated to the board. These teams completed all the inspections together and in a limited time, so that the schools could be taken by surprise and their actual condition could be assessed correctly. This planning was so brilliant that no one got a chance to cheat.

CBSE Schools Raids: What was the motive?

CBSE’s aim is to run schools according to their by-laws. For this, they investigated many things:
– Are the schools enrolling non-attending students?

– How is the academic and physical infrastructure of the schools?

– Are the rules being followed or is it just a pretense?

CBSE Schools Name: Which schools were raided?

Delhi: Apex Public School (Burari), CIAT Convent School (Kanjhawala), SKR Public School (Inderpuri), L K International School (Bawana).

Other states/UTs: Shri Guru Harkrishan Public School (Sector 40-C, Chandigarh), Central Academy (Ranchi, Jharkhand), Rahul International School (Mira Road, Maharashtra), J.S. Memorial Public School (Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh), Alok Bharti Model School (Sonarpur, West Bengal), Lakshya School (Samalkota Mandal, Andhra Pradesh).

Strict action will be taken

CBSE Secretariat has made it clear that strict action will be taken on the basis of the report that will come now. The board is clearly saying that maintaining educational quality is their priority and those who break the rules will not be spared. Not only this, such intensive monitoring will continue in future also, so that no school can manipulate.

What does CBSE have to say?

CBSE says that this step has been taken to improve the schools. If any irregularities are found, immediate action will be taken on it. This is a clear message that there will be no compromise with education. Now it remains to be seen what the report of these schools says and what happens next.
