Jamar Langley is an American guitarist and singer-songwriter. He achieved fame after his participation in Season 23 of the NBC singing competition The Voice, featuring esteemed judges Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton, Chance the Rapper, and Niall Horan.
Biography
Originally from Andrews, South Carolina, Jamar Langley is now bringing his music to Atlanta.
His discography includes two albums- “In My Dreams” (2020) and “Love Sessions, Vol. 1” (2021)- as well as the EP “Holidays with Jamar Langley” (2021).
In a 2021 interview, Langley mentioned how his passion for music began early- singing in church at the age of 6 and learning to play the keyboard at 11 years old.
After enrolling at Morris College in 2007, he eventually made the decision to leave and pursue music full-time.
Langley’s most celebrated single is “Highlight Girl” from his 2020 album. According to him, the record was written to portray the importance of women and encourage respect for them.
He also recently released two singles, “So Beautiful” and “Believe Again” in 2022. You can find many escatic original tracks on his YouTube channel.
During an interview in 2022, Langley opened up about creating music, saying that it’s through music that he expresses his life experiences. He went on to say that what sets him apart from other artists is his ability to dig deep into music and generate magic. His motivation is to remind everyone that they should never give up on their gifts.
