Television

In 2003, Samir started his career with a television show Haath Se Haath Mila, which was Doordarshan with a BBC Collaboration. He also appeared in the popular daily soap Bade Acche Lagte Hai (2012- 2014), where he played the role of Rajat Kapoor.

In 2017, he was seen in ALT Balaji’s web series The Test Case, which is inspired from an 1997 American film G.I. Jane, directed by Vinay Waikul and Nagesh Kukunoor. In the following year, he acted as SPI Markand in the Netflix’s crime thriller series Scared Games. He has also worked in the popular web series such as Typewriter (2019), Four More Shots Please (2020), The Bid and Win Show (2020) and many more.

In 2005, Samir stepped into the film industry with the movie Zeher, a mystery thriller film which was directed by Mohit Suri, starring actors like Shamita Shetty and Emraan Hashmi. After that he worked on several movies namely Jannat (2008), Chase (2010), Surviour India (2012), Dangerous Ishhq (2012) and many more.
