This maximum limit in SBI-
For ATMs located in 6 metro cities – Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad, the maximum limit for free transactions for other bank ATMs is 3. Earlier, accounts with a monthly minimum balance (ABM) of Rs 25,000 were offered unlimited transactions at SBI ATMs, this facility will now be available to only those customers who maintain an ABM of Rs 50,000.
The number of free transactions in metro cities is limited to SBI charges Rs 5 to Rs 20 depending on the ATM for transactions exceeding the free limit in the transaction. For non-financial transactions in excess of the free limit, customers are charged Rs 5 at SBI ATMs and Rs 8 at other bank ATMs in addition to the applicable GST rates.
A charge of Rs 10 is levied on cash withdrawal transactions over and above the free limit at SBI ATMs. SBI charges Rs 20 per transaction for additional financial transactions at other bank’s ATMs. Apart from charges, applicable GST is also charged from the customer’s account.
ICICI Bank–
Depending on the type of card and type of account, the account holder is given a daily cash withdrawal limit. It ranges from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1.5 lakh. 10,000 per withdrawal facility is available if withdrawal is made from ATMs of banks other than ICICI Bank. 5 transactions free from ICICI ATM in a month. After that ATM withdrawal has to be Rs 20 plus GST. This limit is for financial transactions while the charge for non-financial transactions is Rs 8.50 plus GST.
Axis Bank-
The daily cash withdrawal limit is Rs 50,000, the daily POS transaction limit is Rs 1,25,000. If there is not sufficient amount in the account and the transaction is declared then a charge of Rs.25 will be levied. 4 initial cash transactions of the month or Rs 1.5, whichever is earlier, comes in the free limit.
Cash withdrawal of Rs 25,000 is free in a day at non home branches. For transactions above this, Rs 5 will have to be paid per thousand. The rules for depositing or withdrawing cash in excess of the limit are different. On depositing or withdrawing money in your account, you will have to pay Rs 5 per thousand or Rs 150, whichever is higher.
Rs 10 per thousand or Rs 150, whichever is higher, will be charged on deposit in third party account. 5 financial transactions in a month are free and unlimited non-financial transactions are free from Axis Bank ATMs. Financial and non-financial 3 transactions are free in metro cities. In other places 5 transactions in a month are free. If cash is withdrawn from Axis and Non-Axis ATMs outside the limit, then Rs 21 will have to be paid per transaction.
PNB Bank-
PNB gives free 5 transactions a month at ATMs. Also, for any financial transaction, a charge of Rs 10 has to be paid. Apart from PNB, the rules for transactions from ATMs of banks other than PNB are different. There is a rule of 3 free transactions in a metro city and 5 free transactions in a non-metro city in a month.
There is a charge of Rs 20 for doing financial or non-financial transactions after the free limit from other bank’s ATMs. The rule of international transaction is different from this. 150 rupees plus applicable tax is charged for international cash withdrawal. Rs 15 plus applicable tax is levied for international balance enquiry.
HDFC Bank-
Only first 5 withdrawals from HDFC Bank ATMs in 1 month are free. Rs 20 plus tax per transaction for cash withdrawal, Rs 8.5 plus tax for non-financial transactions. 3 free transactions are allowed in any other bank’s ATM in 6 metro cities (Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Bengaluru) and 5 free transactions (financial and non-financial) are allowed at other locations in a month Is.
The fee for Debit Card PIN Re-Generation is Rs.50 (with applicable taxes). If you do not have money in the deck account and the transaction is declared, then it also gets charged. If there is not enough balance at other bank’s ATM or merchant outlet, if the transaction is rejected, then a charge of Rs 25 will have to be paid.
