Biography
Alisha Weir was born on 26 September 2009 in Dublin, Ireland. She started her career at the age of just three with television commercials. She was featured in a television series named It’s Alll About Me in 2017. Later she got opportunity to work in several stage plays produced by Festival Productions, Talented Kids & MVW Talent Agency and West End Touring Musical.
In 2018, Alisha made her acting debut in feature film through Don’t Leave Home, played the role of Siobhan Callahan alongside Mark Lawrence and Sue Walsh. She subsequently acted supporting roles in Day Out, The Wiremen, Fiadhas Oak and Two By Two: Overboard. In 2022, Alisha rose to prominence by portraying lead role in Matthew Warchus directed musical fantasy comedy drama film Matilda the Musical. The story is based on an extraordinary girl, with a vivid imagination, who dares to take a stand to change her story with miraculous results.
