Cookie Policy
Last updated: 12 July 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how whowiki.org uses cookies and similar technologies. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device to help it work, remember your choices, and understand how it is used. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels. We keep our use of them limited.
How we use cookies
We use cookies to run the site and keep it secure, to measure traffic and see how the site and tools are used, and to remember choices you make. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell your data.
The cookies we use
- Essential. Needed for the site to function and stay secure. These are always on.
- Analytics. Set through Google Analytics, to understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
- Functional. Remember your preferences and the choices you make.
Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by services we use, under their own privacy policies:
- Google Analytics, for website analytics.
- HubSpot, which may set cookies when you interact with one of our forms.
Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and set your browser to warn you before storing them or to block them. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working. For Google Analytics specifically, you can install Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
Do Not Track
Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common standard for it yet, so we do not currently respond to it, but we keep our tracking limited as described above.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time and will change the “Last updated” date when we do.
